Chelsea Health Fair Sept 28, 2013
The RSVP HERO gang did a Yellow Dot event at the Chelsea Health Fair. About 45 registrations completed, good mornings work. Very nice weather. Could have used a canopy since Dick had a very difficult time reading the printer display in the sun. We made most pictures with the people just under the canopy at the booth next to our table. Thanks for their putting up with us. But fun was had by all. Ron was happy, got both breakfast and BBQ lunch provided by the hosts. No serious sunburns for the morning that I have heard of.

Confederate Memorial Park PC Maintenance Trips 7/31 and 8/9, 2013
On Wednesday July 31, Ron Howard and Joe Myers visited Confederate Memorial Park to work on their PC's. The PC at the front desk was not recognizing its hard drive, so it would not boot even in Safe Mode. Joe ran Steve Gibson's SpinRite in Level 2, repair mode. SpinRite found three unrepairable sectors near the start of the drive. It repaired a number of sectors. After SpinRite completed, the PC booted after it ran Check Disk. Ron did software upgrades on Bill's PC.
After the July 31st visit, Bill had CAT-5 cable installed between the router in Bill's office and the front desk computer. On Friday Aug 9th, Joe Myers and Ron Howard traveled again to work on PC's at Alabama Confederate Memorial Park. The software on the computer at the front desk had not been updated in at least a year. Ron did the critical Windows updates, but many others remain to be done. Joe did a full image back up of Bill's PC on Bill's new external hard drive he recently acquired.
